Case Study: 111th Grey Cup
A Team Effort Like No Other...
For the 2024 CFL 111th Grey Cup in Vancouver, BC, our incredible team of 10 expert graphic installers transformed BC Place and the Vancouver Convention Centre into a visually stunning experience with nearly a thousand different graphics of all shapes and sizes.
In just over seven days, we logged nearly 1,000x hours installing a wide array of graphic elements, including stair risers, window graphics, massive banners, directional signage, floor decals, pillar wraps, A-frame signs and so much more. Each piece was meticulously placed to create a cohesive and immersive environment... all for a 3-hour event.
The complexity of the project required us to not only work at heights and through the night but also to travel between multiple sites across the great metropolis of Vancouver seamlessly.
Our team’s experience, adaptability and problem-solving skills were tested daily as we accommodated last-minute client requests and resolved unexpected challenges.
The best part about it all, is that everyone was happy to do it, without a single complaint along the way.
To streamline this intricate process, our team created a custom client portal that tracked every single piece of signage in real-time, enabling efficient communication and ensuring no sign was missed, and no detail was overlooked. One portal for our clients to track the progress of the project, and another for our team to update it in real-time! From lift work to tight deadlines, our team’s diverse talents and unwavering focus turned an ambitious vision into reality. The consistent feedback we received was how impressed everyone was with our team and how efficiantly everyone worked.
The effort didn’t stop after the final whistle. Within 24 hours of the game’s conclusion, every graphic, from towering banners to floor decals, was carefully removed, restoring each of the venues back to their original state. This rapid turnaround highlighted the precision and dedication of our team, ensuring a smooth post-event transition.
